You have to work your butt off to be sustainable. You also need plenty of cash to build infrastructure to support and promote efficiency. That is why most systems employ the laziness afforded by industrially manufactured or acquired inputs. In this case it is by catch from offshore Peru. How busy do you want to become? How much money do you want to put into concrete and steel/plastic?

All about how far you want to take it is right. I guess you might then say I am a little bit obsessive. though the closest of my friends have learned that I just get tunnel vision. I have been researching these subjects this past year. (hrs of log in time daily avg.) the tip of the ice burg can be cover fairly easily.

There are a few groups that I intend to model my ecosystem after. After all the never ending never finished product will be a micro ecosystem.

The ones that I have so far found are based here in the United States.

The first step will resemble the system modeled by Growing Power,

(Still learning this forum, if someone wouldnt mind adding an in forum playable version of the vids)

Then after purchasing a decent size property ( i live on family land atm ) I will commence step two and move the the system from step one, one part at a time.
