looking for a narrow grow bed to go above my aquarium and up against the wall and just over hang my tank.
Around 100-200mm wide(can't go much wider or it will shade the tank too much) and about 1700-2000 long not sure how deep I need it to be but my lights are about 450 off the tank but can be moved up to 850 off the tank.
I looked at some drainage system/piping that seemed the right shape but made out of recycled polypropylene which is somewhat toxic , also saw some plastic downpipe that was 100mm wide by 3 meters long but only 50mm deep which seemed too shallow to me, then there's PVC piping at 100 or 150 mm diameter but since its round, that wastes alot of space. So I figured Id ask you guys out there who are more experienced in aquaponics for something that might be better.

You could make your own out of wood and line it with polyethylene sheeting.
