Martin unfortunately the marble isnt P.H neutral but I've got a really awesome sealer to go on after I finish so it should be fine. Infact I might paint some on an offcut and test it.

Cool..

Also a word of warning to anyone testing the P.H of anything with vinegar don't use the same type of cup as what your wife is drinking out of and leave it on the kitchen bench :?

:headbang:
Classic.

Hey Drbee
Its a type of Travertine marble from Bernini stone in perth.
Armanti tiles also sell it but obviously the price is jacked up a bit. Its about $80m2 down here but I don't think you can go wrong when you use natural products.

I'm loving your work, so well made and your finishing is great! I can't wait to see it up and running. Are you going to put some lighting in at all?

Brilliant work!

So i grouted everything on Tuesday just before a massive storm floated over and filled it with 30 odd mm of water. Unfortunately i have to remove it all to silicone and put a few coats of sealer on it
