I'm building a ebb-flood growbed ontop of my aquarium. But the waterlevel is still 1 cm high when the boxes are emptied. I can't change that without taking everything apart and start from scratch. Will that one cm kill the roots?
Or will some plants be fine (which ones?) and others not (which ones?)?
Also how often do the boxes need to be emptied? I mean how long can the roots be in water?

Don't worry about it, the plants will be fine... :thumbright:

People grow with roots completely submerged, so long as theres a lot of DO in the water it;s all good.
