My name is Steve and I'm from the Houston area.

I've been interested in and learning about permaculture for a very long time having put several practices into actions. I became interested in aquaponics when I learned about the discipline a year or so ago, but I'm just now getting around to diving headfirst into it. I plan on starting small, but have no doubt this will grow exponentially.

I'd love to meet some individuals in my area to learn from and share ideas with.

Thanks for the great info I've learned from here already!

SR

Howdy Steve. Where in Houston? I'm down in Santa Fe, although just moved and don't have a working system at the moment.

Also check out the Galveston Farmer's Market. Island Aquaponics runs a commercial greenhouse at the site.

Jeff, I currently live up north near Spring. I've seen the commercial systems...really interested in setting up a solar/rainwater system, though I know it will be a lot more work to get working properly.
