ok my wires works :notworthy: :wave1: :notworthy: ...... tomorrow I'll try to figure out programing the timer  then a few days testing to be sure and I can start looking for fish and prawns or crawfish

The wiring is a little messy right now I neaten it up later , I took a 4" pvc bell end heated up and shaped with a 4x4 block to get it square (should hold two timers) later will drill holes for wire to go through the green square into the timer that should hold timers in place and protect form weather but for now its just setting in the end (sorry picture is sideways)

My sump tank this is the first day I tested the new float value so I got a picture of it to , the float value controls power to the sump tank 12v bilge pump and the timer controls power to the Bosch 360gph 12v water flow pump

Everything is powered by that 8D battery charged by a small dash size solar panel. It seems to hold up good running manual for several hours straight with no power issues so it should work ok on timer that saves power. It is completely off grid so no elec bills and no worry's when storms come and we have no power for days or weeks

Glad to see the timer worked. No I see two yellow wires going to the timer, do they both got to the same terminal as it looks like they do not.

no that's a optical allusion

the dirty yellow wire down lower that connects to wire nut runs through the base under the swirl tank over to the sump tank bilge pump and is not connect to the timer at all

The clean yellow wire is my main power form battery to the #4 then used the red wire to jump to #1 , the lack wire is the battery ground connected to #2, and the tiny red wire on #5 connects to my Botch pump that on the timer for my timed water flow through the grow beds

ok this is the part where have to I admit that I am not smart enough to figure out this digital timer :upset: :violent1: :upset:

I have been able to :

* Run or off cycle works manually = ok
* I have the clock set to the correct time = ok
* I have the on off times set at about 15-20 minute on and maybe 30-40 minutes staying off before next on time
(that isn't set perfect since there is 17 settings a 24hrs in a day but it's ok until I figure out timer )

:?:  The day setting I thought I had right but must not be right  when I adjust the day button it either shows all 7 days or three days or each individual day so I set the timers with all seven days showing cause I want it to work every day and it is not cycling on so I am guessing the day setting is wrong???? .........I wasn't able to find a youtube link to this particular timer if anyone has one please send a link

:?: The auto is just not kicking on I think it must be the day setting somehow but if you have other Ideas I'll check or tell you if I have tried it maybe we can figure this out with your help

:?

I have the same timer… when you have set the clock on it are you sure of what mode your in as it can display time in 12hr and 24hr time… if in 12hr time it would need to correctly be on am or pm.. perhaps this is why your programmed times on auto are not kicking in? I personally use 24hr time as then it is harder to get it wrong.

Also you do have it set to 'auto' on the display? (silly question but thought I would check)

ok...lol.... yep I did set it to auto....lol

I wasn't aware of the 12/24 hr times. I guess mine is set on the 24 hr military time ie:21:00 , 23:00 etc etc

honestly I can't remember seeing a am or pm setting I will look back at that again tomorrow in during the daylight

Re read the instructions even I found it easy, remember they only allow so many settings and if you want a setting every hour then you will need two timers. One am and one pm using 24 hour setting is best.

What are you trying to set at, every day, miss a day, hours on and off?

man I have reread those one page directions so many times in the last week ............

yes I remember you saying I'd need to timers , but I have to figure this one out first. didn't you used to have a video on these timers?

ideally I would like to set it for every day seven days a week on for 15-20 minutes then off for 30-40 minutes

ccBear,

you must have gotten very different instructions to what I got as the ones I got were on one page all in text that I guess was written in English but via Google translate… it made zero sense… I bought mine of Ebay and I guess there are lots of different people selling them, perhaps I got the one who had crappy instructions… I basically just used my own logic to figure out how to programme it.

Will recheck when I go back down this afternoon.

Update:

ok well last night after midnight the "auto" function kicked on and off like it was supposed to , and was finished by just after 10:30 am this morning . I'm not quite sure how that worked out since the 10 am setting was at 23:15 on which I thought would be 10pm?

I looked at the instructions again and have been playing with the timer for a couple hours this morning ............... I don't think his timer has a am/pm setting , I also don't thing it can be changed to regular time it only has military time but that is ok
