I'm very new to aquaponics & forums. I'm hoping to do a little research before breaking ground on my 1st system. I live in Vernon (about 30 minutes north of Panama City beach) pests are among many concerns I have....I noticed mention of BT (bacillus thuringiensis) as one possible remedy but have seen that Monsanto (possibly the most evil entity in the universe) uses this in their corn. Can anyone advise on this ?

Evil or not, BT works and we use it. We'd also use neem, garlic, and pepper tea. Works for many Pests but aphids think uh us candy
