I would like to go but justifying the cost for a hobby, well that is another matter.

Ouch, just looked at the costs. For a non trade member, not student, and not member, it's $800 if I book now. Out of my budget

My understanding is its aimed more at the high end aquaculture identities to showcase products and share knowledge and industry advancements. Not sure a simple backyarder would benefit much from attending but it would be cool to check out all the up to date gadgets and skretting products.

the $800 would be for all the conferences, and they would be wasted on me!

I thought the trade tickets meant you had to be in the trade? That's what it was like for the catering expos I've been to, had to prove you were in the trade to get the cheaper tickets.

The trade ticket just gets you in to see all the displays of AQ toys. Its like the boat show or car show except for aquaculture.

The $800 tickets are to get to here the speakers.

But the point would be to hear some of the speakers otherwise it is just a show case of companies.
