I have a lot of experience with pools but am very new to aquaponics. I'm considering a 300 gallon fish tank, but don't know much beyond that. I live on a Springfed creek in the Florida panhandle . I've only got 1/4 acre lot but am considering a greenhouse at some point down the road too.

I'm wondering:

What kind of fish, how big to grow beds need to be & what do indeed to keep an eye on (ph, algae , etc) I like the sound of a fill and drain on a timer system but am curious of what kind/size sump pump would be good for this system

I appreciate any advice

Every time you touch something it effects something else.

Number of times I've changed a level, standpipe, etc. and then regretted it are too numerous to mention.
