a couple of views looking under the deck, not quite as tidy as the topside!

I wasn't planning on putting that much water in the FT straight up, but I left the hose on all day by mistake.

The bricks are hides for the yabbies, sort of yabbie apartment blocks.

If frogs are happily there, then you're doing something right. :)

At least you don't need to worry about topping up the water often.

That water looks so clear! You must disappear under there for hours on end

Heck, give them a couple of weeks and they'll look like brussels sprouts. :)

All looking good my friend, water quality is great. Mini tree's are going nuts at nurseries these days, so many options, nectarine is another. Plant what you would like to eat.

they also had a fitted garden hose for $5.80 I wanted bayonet fittings so if I want move a tub it the water supply could just be unclicked.

The cheapest loose bayonet fitting was going to cost $7 for a male and a female!

So i got the fitted hoses and some bonus hose.

leaf guard made do as water reservoir.

old bucket got the job as the header tank, adjusted the height so there is 70mm of water in the tubs.

Thanks Charlie, are you settled in on the East coast yet?

I've got a couple of avocados coming up, would like to see how they would go.

thanks Sleepe, it's certainly a lot nicer to be in.

they are rainwater leaf guards cost $6.39 ea

the pots are 140 dia x 100 deep. some of the openings are largish thus the shade cloth to keep the soil in.

they would work good with a bag of media in DWC especially for a larger plant.
