Hi everybody just fired up my courtyard aquaponics and is 7 days old now,have 20 trout in and is all going well so far.i would like to put some pictures up,but I'll have to work out how.not up on this computer stuff yet .but Sue and the crew at backyard aquaponics have been very helpful.like keep saying keep it simple follow the golden rules.

If you store your images online like flickr or google images, You can then press the 'Img' Button up the top and copy the link from the photo between it

The other way is to 'choose file' and attach - which is down the bottom of this reply window.

Nope,I can't work out how to attach pictures,I have them on my I phone,and I am using a Seven inch nexus haven't been using computers very long hope I have better luck with aquaponics.one day I'll work out how all this forum works (maybe).

Sorry Jay I'm using a 7 " nexus.I take a photo on my I phone and then mail it to myself and then gets saved on my downloads.I will keep trying,I'm not very computer savvy,but I must say I'm learning a few things the more I use this forum,I hope it doesn't bug u to much.

For your Nexus, try 'Resize and rotate photo', an app you can get from the Play store. I'm sure there are plenty more, but this one was first in my Google.

If you've got the newer version of the nexus tablet (2013 onwards), it should have a rear camera, so you can take the photos directly with the tablet, and post them here. Avoid having to email them.

There is an android app called tapatalk:

I'm pretty sure it'll let you upload photos far easier, but I haven't played with it much (I prefer the PC, nothing like a keyboard, but it's what you're used to).

If you really want to transfer photos, there is an easier way than emailing them to your tablet. If you're phone is NFC enabled (your tablet is), turn it on in the settings, and tap them together when you're looking at the photo. It'll transfer them.

Another way is to use a program called wifi file transfer:

It'll allow you to log onto your phone file system through another tablet/pc over your wifi network, and it's easy enough to navigate/download photos.
