Hard to get a whole lot done during the day yet. Feeding almost hourly in the mornings and evenings and about every 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon and only getting a somewhat longer break at night means projects have to be able to break down into very short quick operations. Will really need to get better at feeding in the carriers if I'm going to manage to harvest anything in the mornings this season.

I'm impressed you're getting anything done at all out there with a new born!

Mum and bubs look beautiful. :notworthy:

When you are under ten poo is an acceptable topic of social discourse. Then its not until you have children.

Well, unless you are farming (then I guess you call it manure or fertilizer) or a compost whacko.
I suppose neither of those things really make it acceptable socially in most circles but then again, Aquaponics, farming and composting isn't necessarily "most circles"

TC, you probably already know this, but moringa tea helps increase breast milk supply as well as providing good nutrient. Enjoy that lovely new guy, glad to see him out, I thought he might be big when I saw you in February! Congrats.

Lovely pic of mom and baby, thanks TC. It can be tough but it sounds like you're still going strong. :D

Regards, Martin.

Baby and I can harvest Kale reasonably well with him in the carrier.

Unfortunately, it is already getting too hot for the Red Russian Kale, I guess I need to pull that out since it is getting attacked by aphids already.

Surviving. Haven't had much time for farm or anything else since we are still having some feeding difficulties with Tovi (he still takes an incredibly long time to nurse.) Got tongue/lip tie corrected a month ago but I'm still trying to get some physical therapy for him to re-teach him how to suck more effectively then hopefully we can keep his weight gain on track and hopefully it won't take him an hour ever hour and a half to eat.

Hi TC. You don't know me but I know your threads. We too are dealing with a newborn(well 5 months now) and feeding woes. From my observations, it seems like my better half has WAY better milk production when she is relaxed and not stressed out(and that makes sense). After bedtime she chills out for an hour or two(much needed) and then she gets enough to make cereal the next day or just have more reserve. That mommies milk is like gold! Anyway, our Ped. gave us this lactation cookies recipe and I thought I'd share. I don't know if it has helped all that much(have not made ME lactate yet) but they are pretty tasty and nutritious. Here ya go

Could I have used any more parentheses in that post?
Best wishes for you and your little one.
I still can't seem to master the pic posting.

The brewers yeast makes some sense. Our midwife told us about having a small amount of beer to help lactation. The trick is likely in the brewers yeast.
