Thanks a lot, pal. My own system is running good.
Made several improvements to it.. it looks more lively..
Upgraded the water pump, added new grow beds, changed the aerator, changed all the channels across the grow beds, made an additional bog filter using water hyacinth.. harvested several batches of veggies.. and major fish harvest is scheduled next month. So, all excited!

We are setting up 4 new commercial Aquaponics units in India.

FYI and as a status update.

I think you were going to do your first fish harvest in March.

How did it go?

Stuart, Fish harvest of my demo system is scheduled some time next month. Shall update with pictures.

What happened to delay things?

It is just that I had gone busier during March, mostly on travel. Things are fine, otherwise.

Want event ideas!

At NARDC, we are thinking of a Fish Harvest Fest as a way to celebrate the first achievement of our demo Aquaponics adventure.

In reality, the purpose of this event is to bring the public in to learn more about the Aquaponics program and to celebrate our accomplishment with friends, family and the community. We also thought it would be a good time to sell the LIVE FISH we harvest on that day.

Chief guest: Sri Sreenivasan, eminent Malayalee Film actor, director, script-writer
Other guests: concerned government officials and local people representatives
Date: To be confirmed (within 10 days)
Time: To be confirmed

A separate invitation announcement will be made as soon the date is confirmed.

It's so nice to see that you've finally grown fish to harvest size.

Thanks Jay.. oh yeah.. kids are the most excited. Getting up early and trying to catch the fish with their own gears even I saw them making hooks yesterday..

SB, thanks a lot.. sure, I will.

SolTun, we are trying out an Fish-On-Demand harvesting plan. People order the fish a day before and we catch enough the next day morning.. customers seem to be happy with this arrangement of giving them LIVE FISH.. so I don't know how to come up with a total volume of good size fish in the tank right now.
