Hope you get that hard roof up before those rains come back :thumbleft:

You're dead right about things not growing if you watch them all the time, I have a feeling not getting enough beer in with my watching, must make moves to rectify this.

abdul, I'm away at present. Hope to be back before the start of the wet season and will cover the top of the shed with a temporary 6x6 tarp. Then I'll start the growing again. Hopefully the barra will double in size in that time ( 300 > 600 ).

My mate makes daily visits and feeds the fish and the cats. Apart from the rains flooding the GB and FT (I told him to just drain some water from the FT) everything seems to be still going along quite well. Fish are growing - world still going around and around.

First job will be to put some iron (or tarp) across the roof.

(suffering from AP withdrawal symptoms and freezing my butt off in Mexico).

Yeah, agree; actually a lot easier down the Strezlecki track than I thought.

Next week we go to Meroo Meadow visiting a nephew and his family for a few days. Will park the van and take a 25 minute drive if somebody sends me time and directions

Not a problem; will catch up when we get back. By then barra may be of sufficient size to knock a couple on the head

I can't believe how the time flies ..... I lost one batch of barra to ich. Wasn't prepared to eat them :naughty: .

This is a batch that I started last year. Bought them @ six inches from Giru Barramundi. After 30 kg of feed it was time for the harvest. (sidenote: I lost a couple before the kill, must have been right on the point of too many fish for the 3500 litres of water).

Ah yes ...... piccies
