Backyard Aquaponics
A place to discuss aquaponics

Hey all, glad to have finally joined this forum. I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer from Hawaii living in the Philippines for service. I've had an interest in AP for a long time now but have yet to set up a viable system (my background is fisheries, not agriculture, so I have a lot to learn about plants).

Anyway, the city government I work for is very interested in AP and wants to start a pilot project here at our Agriculture Office. We currently have about 3 pretty good sized cement tanks that I can use (I'll try and post specs later) but I would love to learn more about design options.

I know this is all pretty vague info, but first and foremost just wanted to introduce myself. I'm stoked to finally join this board and learn from you guys.
