Welcome plenty here to learn from, have you downloaded the IBC of Aquaponics. Link up top and its free. Jades are still available for a couple weeks yet no problems. Cheers

Good to meet you today mate, hope I gave you a few ideas for future builds. As I said slow and easy will get you there. Time for expansion come spring just stock pile every thing you come across. Material can always be traded between members in the area. Cheers

Adding another growbed can help. Give you more filtration and a place to grow more stuff and raise stocking density.

You can lower the flow rate also. Just slow the flow down enough that the whole system volume of water can still be sent to the grow beds in a hour, or Tee off your feed line to give some aeration to the fish tank.

Another bed would be good and forget about raising the stock density. New system let it settle over winter and 25 jades will be enough for you untill you learn more.

Will call later about possible delivery of fingerlings next week. Cheers

ok thanks bear im thinking of starting my next bed quicker than i thought i don't think i will get the filtration that is needed for just one bed now, the fill and empty cycle is about 6 minutes now so that 3 to fill and 3 to empty .I went to see the red claw place on Friday he thinks i should run my system for at least a month to get the bio filter going enough to sustain fish .Yesterday i put my plants in so im unsure of when i should put my fish in now .i added some sea-sol fish emulsion to get things started so i guess im at the point of where to go and what to do next. Very confused at the moment.

Just run with it at the moment and let it cycle, if you start to play with it too much or worry about it, it is not going to help. Did he say if he would sell you a small number?

That's the way mate :thumbright: get in to it. I was fired up this morning got a heap done until about mid day when the temps went through the roof

Then I ran out of beer, couldn't drink anymore water, had to give up and check out some V8 Super car action. :funny1:

You have to resize your photo to 800 x 600, windows photo will let you do it. Open up the full editor button on the bottom of the post screen and follow the prompts.

Hit choose file and follow directions, then hit add file, once that is done it will have you hit post file. If the URL does not post your photo is two big. Always previev before posting if adding photos to check you are happy with it.
