Interesting stuff, EB.
I guess i`m about 900,000 litres in credit then compared to the guy next door who owns 2 cars.
450,000 litres of water go into making the average car, alledgedly it takes 70 litres of water to produce just 1 litre of petrol, ouch!

In comparison, my bike took about 130L to produce and i always sweat a bucketful when i`m out on it.. so i`m probably about even now :wink:

And in that way, we get back to food miles. If we produce it on home soil in our backyard, not only do we know what goes into it, we don't have to drive to get it. Nice article, reminds us that what we are trying to achieve is worthwhile.
