been a huge couple of weeks, been working my fingers to the bone and mates with free time are as scarce as MH370!

but I have grow beds, just the easy bit now remains, shoveling the gravel in and planting.

Looks fantastic!

You should be pretty happy with that! At least you won't have to worry about leaks.

Good job, Slowboat. Are you planning to incorporate distribution pipes, PVC or otherwise, into your GB plumbing as part of your fit-out?

not decided about the distribution pipes yet, was thinking of trying as is for a while.
Are they really necessary?
I have water supply at one end and drain at other end of GB, seems to flow pretty well.

Got the media in 3 beds today.

I put cauliflower, lettuce and brocolli in today, I reckon the last of the very hot weather is over around here now. Celery went in a few weeks ago.

WOW!! amazing work slowboat, this is more than a conversion, it's a coplete remodel and overhaul, you get an aquaponics system AND a deck or lounge area

They are probably not necessary but I believe they are desirable. I think you will find that a large puddle of semi-solids will build up at the inlet for each grow bed; semi-solids that are arguably best distributed more evenly around the bed.
