Thank you as been a good learning experience and would not have achieved it with out the help of the members here.

Now the good wife wants to have different types of fish and I said it would require another system. Answer was simply, I f that is what it takes then do it. So when I have a quid again it will be on. Most likely a insulated system in the shed. Cheers

Agree Bear, I have learned a lot from the very kind people here.

Great fish too buddy - looked awesome. Made a note of your recipe.

Regards, Martin.

Had a check this morning all seems to be working ok, RAS is going good after a couple of modifications. Been talking with Rob from Ipswich and blind freddie. Looks like a couple more modifications coming on.

I am sure blind freddie has a plan to have Rob and myself do all the hard yakka and mistakes and he gets to build an easy system.

Took 3 more Jades out of the main tank and put them in the RAS so that gives me 8 jades between 400/500 grams in one tank and 57 fingerlings in the second. System has fully cycled just have to watch for any changes when introducing fish.

May be doing a road trip to Adelaide in a couple of weeks, out through western NSW to Broken Hill and down to Adelaide. So hope to be able to catch up with some of our SA members if it happens. Cheers

We have had a long, hot dry summer. Not as bad as out farmers out west but when you rely on tanks for your water and the rain does not come you start to worry.

Just had our first decent rain for months and it was nice to see the water flowing to the tanks. They say we can expect rain over the next couple of days, a few more like the one we just had and I will be a happy little vegimite.

I just hope it is falling out west as well. Cheers

Well the last two days have been good for us. First decent rain in over 9 months I thought that all the rain this season was gone and starting to worry a bit. Now all the tanks are full with more rain expected tomorrow. Will clean out the sumps and refill and should still have full water tanks at the end of the week.

Might even have a wine on Friday, sounds like a plan. Cheers

About 150/160 grams taken out of each mate, very tasty. Will be pulling another out on Saturday to try.
