Cool, how do you cover it? Is the plastic cut to a special shape, or do you make folds in it? What part of east Texas, I am near Crockett.

been off BYAP for awhile.

covered with a 60ftx60ft translucent greenhouse woven poly fabric.

Made pleats and tucked the cover under the base rods.
Tried to face the pleats away from prevailing winds.

I am near Texarkana, tx.

How do you get the poly to lie flat on all those different angles?

That is an impressive greenhouse! Looks like it'll be fun getting the plastic over the whole thing.

I am so jealous the very air around me seems to be green (though it is probably just my eyes).

More info on the dome, please!

I'm in both Dallas and Frisco, by the way.

I should also add that if you ever give tours - heck, even if you charge for admission - I'd love to come see this when it is up and running. Best of fortune to you in the meantime!

One more quick question, if you don't mind... Did you build or buy the hubs for your frame (and if you bought them then would you please let me know from whom)?

My 1000 gallon FT nitrites and nitrates were at zero and the ammonia was at 5ppm for 5 weeks - I added 50 gallons of water from my wetland area of my farm…and heres the results after 3 days----

-- current FT water results--
pH 7.6
ammonia - .3ppm
Nitrites - 5 ppm
Nitrates 160 ppm

plants are doing great!
Now to wait for the nitrites to drop and then add fish---sweet!

I used domerama.com for the calculator to get the right size -- 32 ft diameter dome 24 ft high at center.
