The good wife was suggesting Kaffer lime leaves or Lemon Mertol leaves to start with. Would wrap in foil with a couple other things and bake, No oil. Will let you know once we decide. Cheers

This was the second one I took out this morning, as my son will be here for dinner and will eat one on his own.

Weight was 761 grams full and 600 grams gutted. They are certainly not starving.

Tonight we cooked the first Jade perch out of my system. Fourteen months since the fingerlings went in and I was a bit wary about the taste.

How bloody wrong could I be, the missus cooked it they were excellent. Even the son said they were good and he is a lad that appreciates his food.

Added Kaffer lime leaves, fresh chillies, spring onions, french tarragon and thin slices of fresh limes. Wrapped in foil and baked in the preheated oven at 180 c for 35 minutes.

All from our garden and fish tank except the fresh limes. Did not notice till late that I had fresh ripe lemons on the tree which could have been used. Excellent meal from Dunbyu Gardens.
