Has another used a dual discharge pump? I found one from Little Giant (for freeeeee) and want to use it in my system. I'm positive that it pumps enough gph and all that jazz.

My question: can dual discharge pumps be rigger to pump a single discharge?

Or could I use the second discharge to make a fountain to aerate the FT better?

http://www.123ponds.com/566065.html<--- thank is the pump, although it is actually the previous model. Pretty sure it hasn't been used, and if it was, it was just for a few lab classes.

I don't know if it's my computer/internet, but the link to the Owner's/Instruction Manual does not load or download. Didn't work from other sites either, so it's probably something wrong with me. :dontknow:

It comes as a single discharge according to the blurb, with one outlet capped, so is ok to use that way. If you don't need the full output for water circulation, then diverting some to a fountain would be fine. You'd want to use a valve of some sort to control the diverted flow though, because if it had less restriction, most of the water would go to it, instead of to the GBs or wherever your AP circulation goes from the pump.
