Are you human?: I think...I hope so!

If I had the money I'd buy it without another thought. And let it run continuously as it has for the last 5 years. Of course I would add new systems, ideas, shapes and whatever comes along that would be feasible as part of the backyard aquaponics world.
I really support the concept of the home grower in everyone and having fish to grow their produce or garden is just a concept that should be mandatory.
I also look for different kinds of systems for different kinds of people even for people who want to have lots of different systems in one garden or different gardens. I just have this huge imaginary world of the future where almost everyone is growing what they love to see using any kind of fish. To see it happen and to explore many potential gardens is truly a trip in paradise.

to Mrs OBO today and we have worked out that there is approx 20 odd AP systems in Kalgoorlie. 3 of us are on the forum.

I delivered fish to a system today that is massive. 3000L of filtration and approx 12kL spread over 3 FT's. Beautiful set up.

I hope the guy that was at Ballarat trout hatchery Saturday has a big aquaponics system, he was after 165 fish. When I heard that I said 'So they are going in a dam eh" and got "no an aquaponics system"

I said to the young guy bagging up my 30 fish, I hope he has a big ap system and he said yeah I though a dam as well when he said 165 and he rolled his eyes
Good luck whoever you were :D

Probably time I bumped this seeing that it's not far off a year since I originally put it up. In the last 10 months or so Faye has gone off to do her own thing but the business is still ticking along nicely as per usual.

I've not put the business out to the open market as yet, it was only ever mentioned here on the forum and over the past 10 months there have been a few people interested in further information. Most were interested in the possibilities of buying a share, however, I'm now more interested in selling the lot, or selling the hardware/shop side of things, rather than just a share in the business.

If I don't get much interest through here, then I'll look at putting it out to the general market through a business broker in the not too distant future.

PM or email for further information..

Too bad I'm currently "financially challenged" or I'd already be on a plane to see the place!

EB - I was not aware last May that you intended to sell the business. (I must have missed the original post). I can only share what others have said in expressing my regret to see you move on, but I am sure you will make something great and beautiful, and your AP legacy will stand the test of time.

I'll leave you with a quote in latin: Ad Maiora, EB

(to greater things, EB)
