Hi all

Small update on the aquaponics is unfortunately nothing is happening but the stone arrives Friday some hopefully another update will come soon.

So when i demolished my veg patch to build my aquaponics set up i dumped all the compost in my garden bed.
Now there's a sneaky plant growing it looks great but i'm unsure what it is. Originally i thought cucumber but now its spread so much i'm not so sure now.

Any greenthumbs care to identify it for me?

Quite possibly a variety of pumpkin, MatyH. They seem to have a habit of surviving compost conditions and then self-sowing.

I'd agree with the pumpkin too. The leaves look like a butternut, but I could be wrong there.

That's quite a nice build you've got going there. It will be nice to see where it goes!

Hi Maty, what stone are you using? Is it pH neutral?

Love the workmanship, admire the great quality.

Regards, Martin.

Thanks guys
Martin unfortunately the marble isnt P.H neutral but I've got a really awesome sealer to go on after I finish so it should be fine. Infact I might paint some on an offcut and test it.
Also a word of warning to anyone testing the P.H of anything with vinegar don't use the same type of cup as what your wife is drinking out of and leave it on the kitchen bench :?
