I got 6 beds cut, deburred, and bulkheads installed for standpipes. 3 more to go but I haven't modified the rack for those yet.

Recieved my 300 watt Jager heater yesterday and installed it in the old barrel system as a test. Water was sitting at 80 degrees this morning. Maybe I can put some fish back in my system now.

Making some progress. I am off all next week so hopefully 75% of my upgrade will have water running through it by the end of next week!

I might be worried over nothing, not being able to see the rack fully.
But if you have enough steel, I'd recommend a bracing bar or two down low on the half barrel rack below the yellow steel. Diagonal bracing instead perhaps? (From the top of the left to the bottom of the right/vice-versa).
I'm probably worried about nothing though since the yellow pieces have multiple locking tags. :)
Yep, decided I'm being overly cautious. :geek: Too used to welding structural steel I suspect...

These are rated at 1600 pounds. They have diagonal bracing on the blue uprights. I am planning on adding a hoizontal beam across near the floor to eliminate any possibility of the legs moving but I'm not concerned with weight support as these are industrial shelves, not that cheapo big box stuff.
I tend to over engineer things also.;)

I recognise the racking for sure.
I was worried about the rigidity of the locking tabs, but I was wrong. For sure. lol
Those three tabs on each end won't allow that connection to rotate at all.
You're on a winner. :D

Thanks! Kind of stalled out with not much progress with the cold weather and lack of motivation. (My 10 pepper plants died after transplant into the new system). Will definately have it completed before early spring planting though.

It is one step forward and 2 steps back with this system. Had the front of the greenhouse open so I could work on it this weekend. Had heavy winds on Friday...
