Nice thinking TC. If you're a walker like we were you might want to get a stroller with big wheels which effectively makes it an off road for park walking and maybe around the farm a bit. If the wheels are tiny you basically carry the stroller over the rocks and stuff, becomes a pain.

Ditch the stroller and get a Moby wrap or the like. Still have a stroller for those Disneyworld trips, but a wrap is so much easier to get around in.

We have a couple Boba wraps and another carrier a friend gave us and have had the Kozi wrap recommended for our heat here and for older kids a friend recommended another carrier that also has stirrups.

Of course for around the farm we were joking that we need a wagon or saddle for the dogs to pull.

Will pick out a stroller but probably gonna put that off a little bit. The Cook picked up the Car seat today so will check to make sure we can fit it into my little car without having to put the seats too far forward to drive.

The farm is really taking shape, TC. Looks fantastic and it will be a great photo when there is green popping out of those GBs! Stirling effort.

Naw, the cook already has the mini van. We keep my little car more for the longer drives to the airport and stuff because of the better gas mileage. And we have the truck for when we have to haul things that just don't go inside the car or mini van.

Actually, only reason we have three vehicles is that during winter time we have 5 adults living here and since the Cook leaves for long gigs that often leaves us with 4 adults so having two vehicles on hand is a good thing.



Yea I think that expansion will be great once all growing well.

Unfortunately the Rock delivery didn't happen yesterday, driver had a child come down sick and couldn't make the pick up so re-scheduled for Monday.

I need to do some transplanting in the Raft/tower system and get more seeds started to be ready to plant the new beds once they are filled though.

Kangaroo Care has many benefits in addition to mobility.

It was interesting wearing miss Maggi around. Japanese tourists would ask to take pictures with me. People would ask to paint pictures of me. It is a lot like when I dress in my preferred piratical clothing...

It was funny tonight I had the Cook put on the boba wrap. He had himself wrapped so tight in the thing I don't think a baby would be able to breath when put in it. LOL Relax honey, we won't let you drop the baby!!!! You are still allowed to breath when wearing him.

I've had one friend recommend the Kozi Carrier as being cooler/more comfortable than the Boba wrap. I'm figuring that around here at least through this first summer, the boba covers so much, I would be wearing it as a shirt that I wear the baby inside of and skip wearing anything else under it other than the baby and maybe pads if I turn out to need them.

But there is a big Macro Baby store down in Orlando that the cook is insisting that I have to go with him shopping for the things we still need now after the baby shower. Apparently this place is like the Ikea of baby stores comparing toys R us/Babies R us to being like the convenience store of baby stores.

Ok 3 weeks to go, gotta decide by tomorrow if I am going to schedule farm tours for March 2nd.

take it easy TC, sounds like the cook is getting a bit stressed as well.

pretty soon you'll be recycling clay balls and gravel from the nappies (or diapers?).

I've been taking it a bit easier lately. Harvesting and planting have been the hardest projects for me once I got the system expansion plumbing done.

It was funny yesterday, there was a movie on with a sappy part and both the cook and I were crying about it.

Still need to go do some of that "last minute" baby shopping though this kid is big enough to come any time now. It is now week 37.

What really sucks is when my bladder gets too full it seems to bring on the Braxton Hicks contractions which have gotten really strong sometimes so I wake up in the night needing to Pee really bad and am having one of these strong contractions that make it almost difficult to get up to go pee. I'm afraid I'll have to start waking the Cook up to help me out of bed to pee at night. Either that or start wearing full blown diapers myself.

Sigh.

I do have the pregnant waddle down now though.

As to a name, we have a short list to choose from but I don't think we can make a final decision until we get to meet him. I expect that how delivery goes will affect my choice of names. Teva (which means Nature in Hebrew) is on the short list, if it is a fast/easy delivery I expect a combo that comes out meaning Good or Blessed Nature will win out for me. Anyway, we are still looking in the name book and whittling down our list of names. My Mom has decided the name is "Donknowyet"

I love what you have done! Tell me, Do you think AP can be done with just a filter, a small biological filter, and rafts? I have been running my system as is, but now running ducks in the pond I was thinking I need to filter more..

Oh I remember this bit so well,my wife would keep me awake wanting to pee,not wanting to pee was the baby coming early,sticking that lump in my back,going for a pee then coming back into bed with cold feet,wouldn't swap it for anything NOW...
