sunk the yabitat and put some pot plants on top to provide more security to the yabbies and stop the habitat going all borg cube on me and shooting off round the tankiverse.

Also cut and limestone block in two and placed in tank as stand for the other pot plant to keep up the alkilinity levels as my bore water I use to top up is quite acidic.

Dosed up with seassol pored some in, and poor some in every fortnight. Also added 1 teaspoon of cellated iron and salted to 1 PPT.

Planted out GB's and added some power feed to the tank to get it all moving.

I have 20+ SP in there which are 2 years old. They don't eat much though. But they keep it ticking over till
troutman comes a calling………. :headbang: :headbang:

I have two criticisms.

The shade structure has been built for short people.
You put your phone number on the tank upside down.

Looks like it gets hot where you are.

Very nice work Frostyboy! I was going to say you need more holes in the standpipe cover (its easier to cut slots using a chop/miter saw than to drill holes).

Your absolutely correct, that's why I had water backing up in the feed pipe. The following pipes had way more holes and I should have cut slots, but I followed OBO lead to be safe.

Critique 1) I am not planning on growing any taller. Also the lower it is the less sun gets on the water at lower sun angles.

Critique 2) the phone number was of the tank supplier and the tank is an old fibreglass rainwater tank cut in half. If I put it the right way up for the phone number then the tank would be expensive to fill :shifty:
