It's downright shockingly productive, and with just a teeny tiny 75 litre GB!

I showed her the forum today and left her to play about it with, I'll install tapatalk for her on her iPad so she should be able to get into it.

That's a great idea though, I'll make sure I start a thread for her here for the new system and show her how to use it, will make it easier for us all to get updates on the system :D

Mum's dirt cabbages are hearting up just fine . I figure its too much nitrate in there that is making it happen. Read something about UVI using orchard nets in the sedimentation tanks for de nitrification, I think maybe just a bit of that along with seaweed extract supplementing should be able to hack it in my larger system.

Will most like need to save/export as a JPEG first them up load as if it's a photo.

Not sure the forum software can handle sketch up files?

Well things are coming along, bill has gone up to about USD 700, think that will just about do it. Pickup up not an air pump but an air BLOWER today, a 35 W beast. Also an underwater light to help mama see the fishies. Had a bit of a tiff with the fibreglass fabricator today but I think it should bt ok, they haven't started building them though they say they will start tomorrow and finish by the 13th, I hope all that works out. Lets hope for the best, God is great.

Anyhow, here be some pictures of the setup from sketchup. Table will have a bunch more legs, the sizes as mentioned earlier.

ST close up with drain configured to stop and catch any solid matter the filter misses as well as 3 inch pipe insert for future volume expansion.

re: cabbages not hearting, I found this ... http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapev ... _5954.html

It mentions that soil needs to be very firmly compacted around cabbages for them to heart properly. I have no idea if it's true or anything but I wanted to drop in and say hello :)

Hello :wave1:

To whom it may concern:

The last system on this thread, the bathtub with the 75 litre GB, has been dismantled. The fish will be shifted to the new system tomorrow Inshallah. You can follow that thread on the link given below, please have a look, leave your input/comments/feedback. I will appreciate them a lot and my mom, who is really the system master now, will feel welcomed into our aquaponic family.

Hope that you are all healthy and happy, we will talk more on that thread as mum will be putting the updates in that only.

Drive safe!
