I don't know that turning them off falls into the category of special. That falls closer into the category of duh!

Lol

Been back at it. Had to take a break and build a catch pen, chute and head catch.

Painted my door to match the rest of the tin. Image
It still needs another quote and some trim work.

Also have started putting my old pool liner down on the floor and have successfully built one of four grow bed supports. Pics tomorrow.

Well another week has passed and I've managed go stay busy working on my system off and on. Mother Nature has decided to put the breaks on another Saturday. On the plus side she's also filling up my FTs or at least starting to.

So things accomplished. I was able to get the table for a set of grow beds built. Leveled and cemented. Thinking it might be best to spend the little extra money and put a piece of 3/4 ply wood down over the supports to give the IBC cage more support since I'm using pea gravel.

Windows in the house will be replaced Monday. Will be able to get the windows installed in the greenhouse very soon. Will be nice to get the roof on after.

Well I've decided that I want to put a center support up inside the greenhouse just in case the roof ever starts to sag. I got home and got busy getting a form built for my 4x4 anchor. I took a J-bolt and a 4" piece of 1 1/2" angle iron. Since J-bolts have a habit of pulling up and not keeping seat I took the angle iron and drilled a 1/2" hole in it and welded it V up to the J-bolt for added hold. Got the cement into the form and wiggled the J-bolt into the cement. Hope with the freezing temps the cement will harden as it's suppose to rather than just freeze.

That is some fancy looking green house! Will it be a glazed/fiberglass roof or will you be relying on the windows for light?

I've decided to test my luck with a specialty made clear vinyl tarp. It's extremely thick and has a 5 year uv life. I'm gonna test it out.

Got the roof on tonight still have a little bit of sealing on the east and west sides. Hoping to have time to finish it tomorrow. Then I'll have a semi weather tight space.

I'm sure glad everyone likes the greenhouse. Hope it will help the house sell. My company offered me a job in PA and I'm not sure I can refuse.

Got to work in the greenhouse a little while today. It hasn't gotten above freezing all day in Florida but I felt like with a space heater in the greenhouse I didn't have any excuses.

So I went out and put up my sun reflector on the north wall. Going to go in the garage and work on my exhaust system. Image

Aaaaaaah, sneaky, a secret internal job offer.

You know you have to find a new place suitable for AP and a greenhouse right? :)
