I went to a vintage fair at the weekend and saw a Billabong pump which I thought some of you may be interested in.The idea is 150 years old bot this one was working well.If you had a creek running past with plenty of water it will run 24/7 no fuel no pollution no noise .It works on using water hammer to drive it.I was interested in using it for AP but it uses more water than it pumps but if you have water running to waste I think it has a good potential.I was told that you can download instructions to make them but when I Googled it you can buy them,you can even become a agent for them.

It could be the same thing as a RAM pump.

Shouldn't be too tricky to make. You need gravity to run it though, so you'd still need a pump, unless you use it to boost the pressure maybe?
