With Tooperang (Rainbow Trout) closing down to the public, we need to look for a new supply of fish.

So thought we might have a change of species whilst we are at it. Does anyone know where we can obtain Murray Cod, Catfish or silver perch around Adelaide.

I'm not sure what else we have around....I'm stocking a few wild caught yabbies to start with, and maybe a half dozen SP...but I haven't looked into suppliers yet. I have seen a few threads about people using Livefish or Ausyfish as online suppliers

Go to ausyfish, not live fish. They are vastly cheaper.
I ordered Murray Cod off them last year

I bought 100 Murray cod off a gumtree ad for a place in Mildura/Wentworth area. They had a friend who was coming down to Adelaide, and they dropped all the little Murray's off.

So was $150 delivered. Cheapest I could find anywhere. They were small little guys, but seem fine (although still shy).

Their ad on Gumtree is gone, so I'm not sure if they're still selling them, but might be worth a try.
