Thought I would post a few pictures of my systems growth.

Got pretty worried during hot weather but silvers and catfish all fine. Tank temps got to 32.7C

Wife and kids have been giving the lettuces a hammering and most seam to have run their course.
Got to pick my first couple of cucumbers which was good to finally get something back from system.

Beans and chillies all starting to flower so hopefully start producing soon.

few more pics after heat wave 18/01/2014.

Also found 2 catfish I thought I had lost. Originally I put 2 in first sump with few silvers but later decided to put all in main fish tank, but could only find the silver perch.
The little catfish use to sit on the pump casing so I assumed they became liquid fertilizer. Tonight I found them in my second sump where I have some duck week growing. So after heat wave I actually found extra fish :laughing3:

I think they are bigger than normal - my understanding is the avg IBC is 1000 litre? These have a 1200kg Net on the side and a max transport of 1650kg. If I recall my High School physics, 1200kg means 1200 litres? They are (approx) 95cm x 113 x 100 high which suggests around 1100l so I am confuzzled

IBCs have a volume range that is situated between drums and tanks, hence the term "intermediate“. The most common sizes are 1040 liter/275 gallons and 1250 liter/330 gallons (the 1040 liter IBCs are often listed as being 1000 liters). Cube shaped IBCs give a particularly good utilization of storage capacity compared to palletized drums - one 275 gallon IBC is equivalent to five 55 gallon drums, and a 330 gallon IBC is equivalent to six 55 gallon drums.
