I've been reading about how mint will take over a growbed but I can't find any comments on DWC sutibility. I was thinking about floating some mint and lettuce on top of my fish tank.

Would root bits nibbled by the fish manage to cause an issue somehow? System is 30gal FT overflow to 10gal GB to sump to FT (3 guppies, 2 cory cats).

I have five mint plants in my raft that are the hardiest plants I have. Just can't kill those suckers. I haven't noticed the goldfish that cruise the dwc bothering them. The roots do have a nice resident population of wigglers.

Good to know! My husband loves mint tea and I want to try growing it fresh. I'm guessing wigglers are earth worms?
