This is the system as it sits this morning. H is fitting the pump and the electrics today, then we'll fill the tank. It's exciting!

And for the people waiting for the fish photos. This is the best I could do. They are 99 SP fingerlings.

How are you emptying the grow beds? Are they going to be continuous flow or are you going to try the auto syphons?

You know John, I think H will be disappointed when the hard work is over. He's a bit of a workaholic and he likes these interesting projects.

is it safe to put a besser block in the fish tank or will it upset the pH?

then presumably you will need more of every thing, to keep H happy.

I know that clay bricks have been discussed here or somewhere else and the end view was that it depended on where the materials had been sources as to whether there may be heavy minerals in them.

With cement blocks - you would think they would be a little more pure potentially??

In terms of PH - put one in a bucket - test the ph at beginning and then test again in a few weeks.
