But it does get tiring hearing people in other states call us all redneck simpletons and deride all they can, just to decide to relocate later. And continue to complain. And sneer and more.
Very tiresome indeed. WA people will understand the feeling I'm sure.

For sure EB, I agree. But they don't have the added indignity of having 3 out of 5 people in their town being from the place that puts them down. While diligently converting the place into some horrible and expensive thing.
It sounds ridiculous but it was basically what I experienced on the Sunshine coast.
It sucked big time.
If it wasn't for their economy, Tassie would actually be on my preferred state list.
