Hi All,

I'm Will and I've got a pretty diverse background. I grew up around nurserys and commercial propagation, went on to work in them and in assist in the family gardening business. I moved to Australia several years ago, and got myself an Advanced Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering, worked in industry as a manager and product manager. I have since gone back to university to finish my degree. My original degree program was in biochemistry, I've left that and moved on to the physical sciences.

My interest in aquaculture comes from a combination of academic research, reading space books as a kid (aquaculture was a major point of research for space colonies) and my joy of growing and eating things.

I'm interested in learning as much as I can from the community's efforts, and hopefully contribute my own where I can.

Cheers,
KS

I'm originally from western Oregon, in the US. I also neglected to mention my love of homebrewing, where I learned a lot about microbiology due to the fermentation required. I don't consider myself an expert by a long stretch, but the similarities are one more thing that brought me to aquaculture.

Thanks for the greetings, and I've been reading the forums a lot since I joined. It seems to be a really great community!

Cheers!

Thanks all! Yeah, my homebrewing got to about a "pilot plant" size as well, batches were about 120L post-boil and from there I lost 5L or so from sediment/fermentation.. It's on hold for now however, as it's been too damn hot and I don't have the money for all that grain!

that being said, I want to dedicate a barrell to AP growing a hop vine or two in the future :)

Been doing a lot of reading here, and learning lots. It seems to be a great community and very helpful. I'm looking forward to really getting into AP as all of the pictures of member's systems makes me so hungry! :D

Cheers
KS
