Thought it would be a basic question but didn't find it on the search!

Thanks!

I've got several seed catalogs I can go dig up the names of if you wish, however I wanted to point out that I read recently (and possibly here on this board) that it is actually quite hard to FIND GMO seeds even if you wanted them, if you were not purchasing them in bulk directly from their supplier, i.e. for farming. In other words, pretty much all of the seed packages you find anywhere/everywhere are by default non-GMO.

This does NOT mean they're non-hybrid, but that's a different issue. "Hybrid" and "GMO", as I'm sure you know, are completely different things, and different issues. A great many hybrids are wonderful things, although "buyer beware" because it is true that many hybrids do not breed true (and in some cases that was the point of their development), but that's hardly a universal rule.

Yup. The Baker Creek boys put out some great seeds. 100% sprout rate from them so far.

Southern exposure has been the best for us. Very high germination rate!

Different seeds last different lengths of time. Just use the charts for estimated seed viability.

Sometimes you don't need high germination rates.

There are very few GMO in the world mainly broardacre agricultural crops like cotton, corn and canola.
Id have thought it would be hard to buy them?
