after moving house just started to put this one together after pulling it all apart thought i would do some adding pieces and moving around.

Found out quickly why a sump tank would be handy but wanted to stay awa from the idea, keeping it simple and AP should be. May just nneed to dig a hole at ome stage to increase fishtank size or go for a flatter round one.

Will be adding a second growbed soon and cant wait to get it up and running to be able to add some Trout over the cooler months. For now it is a storage tank for Marron and a few gold fish. Hope this is enough to get Nitrates up.

Any ideas would be appricated

Cant wait to have it in my garden with all other plants. if a system came along at the right price i might take the plunge sooner than later. wonder it 3 systems would be to much ????

Hmmm thinking i should of planted tomatos at the front to get the most sun on offer. they dont seem to be growing to fast, but just would have blocked light on everthing else. Might have to rethink how the brow beds are placed. Hmmm dont really want to try and move 800 ltrs of water again.

I think once the tomatoes grow you'll be glad they weren't in the front. When are you thinking of adding the Trout?

Yer the only reason I say that the front gets the most sun on it and I know how much tomatoes like the sun. Won't look at putting trout in until the system is cycled as have Learnt from past mistakes putting trout or barra into my system to early.

Will run with SP and Marron until about late April or May when the weather cools down over here allowing sufficient time for the system to mature.

Under construction, try get through this Mr sun. Great way to keep the tank cool and make it look the part. Might even have to put some wooden capping on top to level it all off once done.

Some growth but not much as the system starts to get up and running 2 weeks in, i think.

after a move and now planning another move into the garden so i stop taking all the veranda space up i am wondering why i didnt put it there in the first place. So Payed Troutman a visit on the Easter weekend and picked up a new batch of trout for the system. got home and did some moving around of the silver perch and got them into there new home.

pic's to come as it was a mad rush to get it done then get back to real work. if only i could do aqauponics for a living, would it still be this much fun ?????
