I'd assume "bw"... means body weight... I think he means a daily feed rate of 2.9%.. of biomass...

When your fish start dying - quick posts are good - then you really need gun jumpers ;)
I didn't see that it was a display system - why would you display an untruthful representation though Nani?

Hi Yavimaya, flow of the current pump is 150L/Hr making it 120 min water turnover rate, will be upgrading it to 300L/hr

:laughing3: We decided to have a display system at the IndExpo 2013 and had only day in hand. So, nothing could be planned and looked at. Plants were in their individual grow bags, placed them partially submerged on top of gravel beds.
I should not have posted this micro system picture at this thread :dontknow: I will work on to create a working model out of it, that is what I can do right. :)

They learned how to apply commercial RAS stocking rates to systems without commercial RAS filtration.

Good question (twssfl) and an answer with a biased hypothesis. (smatthew) :)

The trainees learn the topics in the training workshop that include,
Biology – pond dynamics, types of fish, types of plants, fish culture techniques, plant nutrients
Physics – technology, design of fish pond, grow beds, cost-effective construction, siphon operations
Chemistry – water chemistry, nitrification cycle
Mathematics – important ratios, economics, cost/benefit analysis
And many other topics...

Well, maybe you should publish the workshop documentation you used completely here on the forum. Since you got most of your information you use for free through this forum and the web, it's time to do something back for the international AP community, wouldn't you think so?
