Does anyone have good info on creating natural pond liners?Ive looked in my sepp holzer books and i was looking for something very detailed a video or advice would help. the ponds will be 10 ft deep and fiften ft diameter. Has anyone done this?? Thanks for any advice!

If your soil has low clay content and is porous, bentonite clay dug into the top 10 or 15cm will seal it quite well. Farm dams are often sealed that way.

If there is enough clay in it, probably... although even the best sealed dams leak a bit

if you're lining a pond with clay, you should compact with a sheepsfoot roller in multiple lifts

One possibility is always gleying - seems like a difficult technique though, but if you have pigs.....
