Not as yet Stuart... He's pretty bloody busy, he runs it by himself with one part time retired woman helping..

He's down in Byford, just south of perth.. He has woofers stay there sometimes to help, so he is in the woofing directory if someone want to contact him for further info, or about possible visits.

How was the gyprock used Joel - wouldn't it just colapse due to the moisture?

Would that shit be safe to use as a raft (not floating of course - don't need to float, just have on top as the water level is constant anyway).

you could paint it with potable paint I suppose, spray it on would be easy. I am not sure of the stability of the compressed cement sheets, I know they hold up relatively well when wet, I'm pretty sure it is the smae gear as they use to make eaves out of.

I you had to paint it with the food grade coating - then may as well use something cheaper as the sheet.

What type did you have in mind C1 - external ply is as expensive as shit. Do you mean something cheap and then painted with the food grade stuff?

That wouldn't be cheap though would it. Are you talking about creating the holes by lying the lengthways and sideways - like lattice.

Bloke obviously used what he had on hand...

But why wouldn't you just use styrene foam C1... surely cheaper, easy to work with, longer lasting etc??/

yes on the money VB.
The labour in cutting holes or buying with holes and or then painting...
just trying to work out a costing, thinking seconds (as in rejects) back in a mo.
whoops shaved that off... for those that know me!!
