A place to discuss aquaponics

Hi all, I am new to this site but am really keen to find like minded individuals with experience of aquaponics in Ontario. I live just north of Belleville near Lake Ontario and would love to begin a project over the winter or early spring. Does anyone out there farm prawns instead of fish? This really appeals to me. Any info would be gratefully received. Thanks, Jez

Welcome, eh. People do raise prawns. They require a lot of space however. Each prawn needs some square footage. People will build prawn condos to help with the space requirements. Essentially they build a bunch of layers of shade cloth with PVC framing.
