this is my set up so far...the pond is an INTEX pool i got on sale for $75. so far i just have the 2 small grow beds but i will soon be adding 2 more small ones similar and also 1 big huge grow bed. right now were growing various veggies. as far as fish...all were caught by me at some of the rivers around where i live. i have like 25 sunfish, 3 bass, 1 small channel cat, like 5 or 6 tilapias....all the fish seem to b doing great, all eat well, very active. water parameters are in check. although adding the new grow beds will definitely help and i can focus on adding more fish. the water is crystal clear sometimes me n my 3yo son come out n fish in our backyard. but catch n release so far, we havent eaten any from our tank yet. i built a net ceiling so birds dont mess with our plants or anything...anyway....this is where im at so far. although changes are being made. ill keep u guys posted. lemme know what u think. advice,,,criticisms?

Any start is a good start. To be candid, I would be looking for a different fish tank. There were some Earthbound had a picture of that was basically a fence with EDPM pond liner. EDPM is a much safer material in a recirculating environment. Some of the plasticizers in the vinyl leach some nasties. That in turn builds up into your food. Also, the cinder blocks might keep your ph too high. They have lime in them. Once all of that lime is buffered out, the cinder blocks will probably crumble, as the lime gives it it's strength.
