This catch was day 2, over the weekend we caught breaksea cod, harlequin, sea sweep, queen snapper, nannygai, groper, blue fin and a few other bits and pieces. Below is a pic of one of the big groper.

We basically head out from the Dukes to the york islands, fish a few bombies and then look out for the birds to trawl through to catch the bluefin. On the map image 'A' is the dukes and 'B' is the york islands. Great fishing.

cracka sp - what did he catch that on? My wife has an uncle with a pond that has had silvers in for 20 years - he reckons some of them are beasts - was wondering about trying to catch a few and purging them in the AP system. He also things some of crossed with goldfish and look like golden silver perch, but thats another storey!

That is one hell of a flounder, IRONMAN79! What a beauty - well done!
Those Sea Bass are a good looking fish, too. As far as I know we don't have them in our waters down here in Oz, although our Barramundi is referred to as Asian Sea Bass but is very different.
