Hi guys

I'm very new to Aquaponics and I'm totally intrigued by the concept.

The more I read the more interested I become.

I have recently set up a very basic IBC System and found that it has been working great.

I do however have a few teething problems and hope to find answers somewhere here. :thumbright:

Thank you RupertofOZ! :thumbright:

Interestingly, I haven't found answers to my issues, so decided to use common sense today and all worked out fine.

My plants were water logged and discovered that my drainage pipe with holes in the centre of the cap was blocked on top, from the cardboard that was starting to decompose. :naughty:

This was being sucked in through the shade cloth, that has been placed underneath carboard and on top of my stones. I managed to thread wire through the shade cloth and hoist the wire and tie it around a timber, spread across the top tank. This way it will prevent anything blocking the top of the drainage pipe in future.

See you around :headbang:
