Oh and tests showed No Nitrates or Nitrites, 1 tank showed slight amount of ammonia but that might have been from the dead Bass?? Ph is up in both but attempt to lower have resulted in it just climbing back up in a few days. 1 tank at 8.3 and the other at 8.

These 2 corn shots are from 2 different systems, 1 lot has come to an end but the corn never fruited properly, the cobs are tiny and most have no or few kernels, i pulled them today as they are now dyeing off.

The other is of a new crop but it is already flowering at the top yet only 1.5 ft tall and fruiting so i expect it will also fail. The pic looks like they showing Iron deficiency but i have added chelated iron to both system twice in the past months. I also have some pond trace nutriments slow release blocks in the system.

These are the second crop of lettuces, the first lot went ballistic then these ones have just stalled and starting to go to seed, i am thinking that they just aren't getting the nutrients now that the fruiting crops are fruiting and demanding all the nutrients??

Those seedlings are Broccoli and have been that size for 8 weeks now, no growth what so ever?

The Tomatoes are spindly and lower growth is dying off. Their rood systems are very strong and i suspect they are using most of the nutrients in the system.

The fennel is also doing really well.

Snow peas haven't grown since planting them and are almost dead now.

Will do but my Aquaponics is under roof so no rain gets the plants in the Aquaponics, the dirt garden only has shade cloth so rain waters it.

Need more nutrients in general. More fish feeding. When Nitrate reads 0 AND your plants are showing signs of nitrogen deficiency, you need more feed. I would say the cucumbers and powdery mildew are potassium deficiency and the yellowing leaves on the toms may be Nitrogen deficiency and because of your high pH you probably need to be dosing with chelated Iron more often but if you can feed more fish food, you may find the pH coming down as well as having more of all the nutrients eventually. Corn, toms, cucumbers, broccoli are all heavy feeders.

However, things like lettuce and broccoli are both cool weather crops so I wouldn't really expect too much from them during corn, cucumber and tomato season.

Hi TCLynx, i am feeding the fish all they will eat so can't feed them any more, i have just added some red claw and started adding seasol daily and pulled some plants and so now things are looking better. I added banana peels to the grow beds to add potassium a few weeks ago but will look into another source. I have been offered 13 fully grown Jades and a silver and thinking of grabbing them to add some extra poo to the system.

Yep, provided you have enough fish tank space and the bio-filtration is keeping the ammonia/nitrite at 0 then more fish.

Yay, everything is growing again, just about to give up of the zucchini and squash as the mildew is just too persistent.
I pulled some unnecessary plants, added the 14 large JP's and approx 30 yabbies, feeding twice a day and adding Seasol daily and the GB's have come back to life.
