Hi,

I have a stupid newbie question, Is it ok to feed my guppies regular tropical fish food flakes and eat the lettuce etc I grow or do I need to buy special aquaponics food?

Most of the aquaponics food I see is too big for guppies to eat, I think 1.8mm would be ok but the fry wouldn't be able to eat it, any thoughts? Can the fry survive on other matter inside the tank?

I have had this question answered elsewhere.

Good food for guppies which should help bring out colour, however, not high enough in protein to be fed as a regular diet.
