I'm eager to start some more plants but they just keep growing and producing - mainly the snowpeas - like rocky horror show.

About to harvest fish for smoking - think I might get a few as my mate has a large coffin looking coonara gas smoker that you hang sausages or the like in. Maybe 9-12 fish. Then I have a week of cooler weather heating up on friday so will grow out the rest some more.

Silver Perch will come on WED/Thurs so will put them in the greenhouse.

Here is the latest harvest

Well we hot smoked 5 with different ingredients. My favourite was the maple syrup and salt.

Didn't do my research and thought I could cold smoke them and store - I have 8 fish gutted and on ice. Figured out that its a longer process that I thought - 8 hours brine then up to 2 days of smoking.
Didn't have the time - so I'm just going to freeze them in cryovac bags.

Still have 2 fish left - but wanted to make way for silver perch this week.

yeah it was worse without kitchen gloves and after they had been on ice and in a bag. was really slippery.
Lovely fish though - still mastering the degilling method of pulling down in one action.

Pulled out all the plants (including the mammoth snow pea infestation) except the kale which is doing well.
Planted tomatoes (GMG, perfect rogue, greek witness, giant siberian pink, Paragon, sleitz, stupice)
killed two trout and gave to a neighbour
turned off the air pumps.

Going to get 7 jades perch and 7 silver perch at 7-10cm and pop them in until it gets cold then move to greenhouse.

What a stunning rewarding hobby ap is: ))

Hey Charlie.
Yeah your tomatoes are looking great.
I have some new varieties this summer.
I had a shocker last year.
This AP is indestructible though :)
So the silver perch in my greenhouse system (50) are only 4-5cm and the ones I'm getting will go in the empty trout tank (not in the greenhouse)
Maybe I should put the jade in the greenhouse ???
