I'm a noob if you couldn't tell, and I'm trying to do as much research as possible b4 I start a AP system (especially if I try a commercial sized enterprise (2-4 acres))

So fish I see locally here are crawfish, bluegill (brim), white perch, striped bass, largemouth bass, shad, carp, blue catfish channel ctfish, and flathead cats

My question is what would be best to grow for a AP system where I'm located ??? Why do some systems have fish and crawfish??? can I use the live crawfish they sell locally (though they may be from mississippi or louisiana) (usually we boil em n suck head n eat tail around these parts w/ em

if there's a "local" fish that you know you can sell profitably, start raising some of them to learn as much as you can..

lots of debate on "commercial" ap systems.. i won't go there.. but i imagine you can find lots of consultants

i grow crayfish, mostly as a supplemental feed for the yellow perch, tilapia and bluegill i have right now.. but harvesting soon, and thinking about trying hybrid striped bass..
