Rupes kitchen work is definitely about flavour, not presentation (as it should be :thumbleft: ) !

Hi Rupe,
I've really enjoyed this thread. Would you go into a little more detail about how you iced the trout in hot weather? Where you put the ice and how much.
Thanks,
Mike

I should cull a few of mine but they have probably lost a lot of condition in the winter. Will start thinning them out later in spring once they have had a month or so of good feeds

No, not yet... I put a system together when I last moved (again)...

But I haven't posted it as health and other reasons have meant that it might not continue....

Few people have been asking... so I'll try and remember to take the camera and grab a couple of shots...

What are the NFT gutters made from? I know you have had them for years,

they must durable with the work they have gone through.

Health problems relate to arthritis in the neck... bone spurs pinching nerves to my left arm in particular...and is likely to get worse over time...

NFT gutters are standard PVC hydro channels... 20 years old... and still going...
